A good-value ISOFIX model that’s a reliable buy and feels very sturdy. The ISOFIX base can be also used for the next stage car seat. Great features, but fitting can be a little tricky.

A solid choice, this car seat feels very sturdy and secure. It is reasonably priced for an ISOFIX seat plus base combination (£75 for optional ISOFIX base) , especially as the same base can be used with a Group 1 model later on for ages one to four.  The Profi Plus has an ergonomic handle so you can transport your baby in comfort and has double side impact protection for enhanced safety.

>> WHAT IS AN ISOFIX CAR SEAT?

It’s a solid and comfortable seat with plenty of room for growth. The back section can be adjusted, feels sturdy and is well made. The Profi Plus has covers that can be removed for washing and an integrated rocker function so you can use it as a baby seat when you’re out. However, fixing and removing the base is quite complicated and the harness twists easily and is hard to lengthen. All in all, a good choice that represents value for money.
