Check your breastmilk for alcohol with Milkscreen

Milkscreen

If you’re breastfeeding but had a little tipple last night, there’s a product you can use to check the alcohol content of your breastmilk.

Whether it’s to wet the baby’s head, having a drink with your partner, or celebrating at a wedding, it’s natural for new mums to fancy a tipple. However, if you’re expressing, you can worry that the milk isn’t 100% alcohol-free.

There’s a product on the market, the Milkscreen, that will allow you to check your expressed milk for any alcohol content, meaning you can be reassured that the milk is clean.

It can also prevent unnecessary ‘pumping and dumping’ - throwing the milk away just in case, when it may actually be clear of alcohol. Everyone’s metabolism rate is different, but Milkscreen means you always know if alcohol is still present.

Kourtney Kardashian was seen using Milkscreen during an episode of Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami - and was also recently seen double-pumping
