Hands up who has ever wondered how celebrity mums are able to snap back into their skinny jeans the second their baby is out?
Well, according to Halle Berry, there’s no great secret – it’s all to do with breastfeeding.
The 47-year-old actress, who five months ago gave birth to her second child, told Extra TV that it really helped her lose her pregnancy weight.
‘Every mother should breastfeed,’ the Oscar winner said. ‘It’s the quickest way to shed the initial weight and then you have to eat right.’
Halle also opened up about how she juggles being a working mum with her status as a Hollywood star, which involves ensuring she sees enough of baby Maceo and daughter Nahla, six.
‘What I’m learning to do, trying to right now, is find the balance… my baby is always with me on set,’ she explained.
‘I bring my daughter after school. I have a nursery there, a playroom for her, so I try to make it as nice as I can for them to spend time with them, see them.’
Luckily, the siblings get on really well – Nahla even treats her baby brother like a little doll.
‘She gets to take care of him, feed him, change his diapers, play with him, dress him up in different clothes like five times a day because she can, so she loves it,’ said Halle.
She admitted that she would never have thought that she’d have another child in her late-40s, adding that she feels ‘blessed’ that Maceo has come into her life.
