VIDEO! Newborn Twins Have A Cuddle In The Bath

*Cute alert*If this video doesn’t have you aw-ing out loud, we’re not sure what will…

A video of baby twins having a bath has gone viral this week, racking up a whopping nine million views on YouTube.  And when you watch it, you’ll realise why.

The twins, a baby girl and boy, adorably wrap their arms and legs around each other and hug throughout the duration of their bath. Watch all the cuteness here…

The bathing technique, invented by French maternity nurse Sonia Rochel, is called the Thalasso Baby Bath and is thought to be similar to life in the womb. Sonia can be seen rubbing water on the babies’ faces – the key part of the technique – that she decided to try after noticing herself that splashing water on her face in the shower was soothing.

The twins were just a few days old in the video and, despite being almost submerged in water, they look incredibly relaxed (they’re possibly even asleep) and don’t struggle at all. Are we seeing the start of a new baby bathing trend?

Given that given a newborn a bath can be pretty nerve wracking at the best of times, we're not so sure. If you want to know more about the best way to bathe a newborn, check out our step-by-step guide.
