Watch The Heartwarming Moment A Two-Year-Old Amputee Walks For The First Time

Hearts the world over are melting at the sight of little double-amputee Kayden Elijah mastering walking with his new prosthetic legs.

The inspiring tot has had a huge amount to contend with after being born with omphalocele, a birth defect that causes organs to remain outside of the body. He also had a band wrap round his legs and feet while in the womb, leading to his legs being amputated.
And his confident chants of ‘I got it’, show just how resilient he is.
The video was posted by his mother Nikki Kinko on a Go Fund Me site in order to raise money for Kayden’s physiotherapy and prosthetics - and has now gone viral.
‘Kayden had two abdominal surgeries and then in January had his right foot amputated and his left leg. We are raising money for extra physical therapy visits, braces and prosthetics for Kayden and to pay off outstanding medical bills.
‘We are also trying to publish a book about his life and prayerfully have him attend a camp for children with prosthetics in Atlanta when he is old enough,’ Nikki said.
Watch Kayden’s incredible first steps below.
