At what age should children use public toilets alone?

A shopping centre sign stating boys over the age of 6 should use the men’s toilets is flying around social media - what do you think?

If you saw the above sign at the ladies’ loos in your local supermarket or shopping centre, what would you think?

This photo was shared by Oklahoma City Moms on Facebook. It has begged the question of mums around the world - what age do you think children should use public toilets by themselves?

Toilets have been big news on social media this week, with Ashton Kutcher campaigning on his Facebook page for men’s toilets to feature changing tables, and questioning why they don’t already. His post so far has received more than 200,000 likes - so it seems the public agrees.
