A baby, who’s fierce cheering at an ice hockey match was caught on TV, has become the team’s unofficial mascot
How early did you toddler get interested in sport? Because for a two-year-old boy from the US, his passion for ice hockey has turned him into a viral internet sensation.
Tyler Avolia was watching the Pittsburgh Penguins with his mum, and when the team scored, his fierce goal celebration was seen on television and shared on YouTube.
Pumping his fists in the air and with an intense expression on his face, he lets out a roar of happiness as his team scores - surely making him the ultimate mini super-fan.
The toddler now been taken to a total of four games, and his mum, Hilary, says the sport has become a central part of his life.
Speaking on US television, Hilary said that her son had always liked hockey, but his passion for the sport really took off when he received equipment to allow him to play the game for Christmas.
'He's always liked it, and then for Christmas he decided he’d ask Santa for skates and a stick and nets. Santa brought them for him, and he’s played every day ever since.'
Tyler has been dubbed the 'Buckle Up Baby', a reference to the team's slogan, which is also ‘Buckle Up, Baby!’ and has become a mini-celebrity in his home-town. The video of his goal celebration has had over 86,000 views.
