Couture-loving pregnant brides-to-be will love Karl Lagerfeld’s take on fashionable maternity wedding dresses.

A seven months' pregnant model, dressed as a bride, took centre stage at the iconic designer’s A/W15 Chanel couture show.

As famed Vogue editor Anna Wintour and A Listers looked on, the model sauntered down the catwalk in a glamorous white crêpe de Chine dress with a striking gold, brocade cape.

The elegant model ended the show, walking hand-in-hand with the designer.

It’s not the first time a pregnant woman has graced the catwalk, after eight months pregnant Daphne d’Oz took to the runwayat New York fashion week in February, but it’s certainly not the norm.

If you think Chanel’s couture dress is a little out of your price range, have a look at our pick of maternity wedding dresses.
