Fashion Police Criticise Pregnant Elsa Pataky’s Oscars Outfit

Fashion Police Criticise Pregnant Elsa Pataky’s Oscars Outfit

Wardrobe criticism + pregnant celeb = recipe for disaster? Elsa Pataky has been put under the Fashion Police spotlight after the Oscars…

Joan Rivers and co. are not fans of holding back on E!’s show Fashion Police. But was their critique of pregnant actress Elsa Pataky a step too far?

The Spanish mum-to-be, who is expecting twins with her Rush actor husband Chris Hemsworth, walked the red carpet with him at the Oscars on Sunday in a beaded blue Elie Saab gown.

'The last thing I wanna do is rip on a pregnant woman but it's a horrible dress on her. It doesn't look like a baby bump, it looks like a beer belly,' says Fashion Police co-host George Kotsiopoulos, when the show looked back on the sartorial choices of guests at the awards.

'It's just not the appropriate dress to wear if you are pregnant, you have to go with an empire style, or just dress like Olivia Wilde,' adds fellow host Kelly Osbourne.

Elsa and Chris already have daughter India, nearly two, and are due to welcome the twins in autumn this year.

She was one of a handful of mums-to-be looking radiant at the awards, including Kerry Washington.

So, whether you’re a fan of the show or not, did they take it too far? Let us know on the comments board below.
