Thanks to Mum-of-Two Zoe de Pass, who is on Instagram at @dresslikeamum, it’s now cool to look like a mum.
‘A stranger mentioned to me after my first baby that I don’t “dress like a mum” and I wondered why I was so insulted. I couldn’t find anything positive about it, so decided this needed to change,’ she says.
It inspired Zoe to start her campaign. She posts pics of herself on Instagram every day, having fun in some cool outfits that are easy to wear, and also easy to breastfeed in. She gives her 12,000-plus followers ideas, inspiration, and advice on what does and doesn’t work.
‘If you know what to look for, there are loads of clothes out there that can be worn during pregnancy and post baby, you just need to know how,’ she says. Go mums!
Zoe’s top Style tips
- Future-proof your maternity purchases: buy things you will still be able to wear after your baby comes along, and which will be easy to breastfeed in.
- If you like it, wear it – you’ll have a better day if you’re feeling confident about how you look.
- Don’t save things for best. Wear it and enjoy it now!
