How to dress like a mum!

How to dress like a mum!

Thanks to Mum-of-Two Zoe de Pass, who is on Instagram at @dresslikeamum, it’s now cool to look like a mum.

‘A stranger mentioned to me after my first baby that I don’t “dress like a mum” and I wondered why I was so insulted. I couldn’t find anything positive about it, so decided this needed to change,’ she says.

It inspired Zoe to start her campaign. She posts pics of herself on Instagram every day, having fun in some cool outfits that are easy to wear, and also easy to breastfeed in. She gives her 12,000-plus followers ideas, inspiration, and advice on what does and doesn’t work.

‘If you know what to look for, there are loads of clothes out there that can be worn during pregnancy and post baby, you just need to know how,’ she says. Go mums!

Zoe’s top Style tips

  • Future-proof your maternity purchases: buy things you will still be able to wear after your baby comes along, and which will be easy to breastfeed in.
  • If you like it, wear it – you’ll have a better day if you’re feeling confident about how you look.
  • Don’t save things for best. Wear it and enjoy it now!

Here are some of our favourite recent ’grams from Zoe:

I actually hadn't realised how coordinated we were today 🎀🎀👯 ⚡️ My daughter's jacket is from London brand @little_leggies it's so fun one arm is yellow and the other is green 🦄 I love fun bright kids clothes (for me and my kids 😜) 👾 Also not sure if you can see my necklace but it's from @magpieontherun which is an awesome new jewellery shop (post on them on my blog) sometimes i find it hard to know where to buy mid priced jewellery but @magpieontherun have some great stuff (mother's day is coming..!) 👊⚡️🎀💋 ps. She is still only wearing wellies which at least I (very successfully) cleaned with a wet wipe! 😜 #dresslikeamum #mumstyle #mumblogger #breastfeeding #TopshopStyle #fashionblogger #ootd
