Alesha Dixon Reveals Her Approach To Post-Baby Fitness (Clue: No Babysitter Required)

The Britain’s Got Talent judge is all about swimming with her baby daughter

Fitting in a workout as a new parent isn’t always easy, so involving your baby in exercise can be the perfect solution – something Alesha Dixon is finding out.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge, 35, loves swimming right now, especially because her nine-month-old daughter Azura does too.

‘It’s [swimming’s] my favourite form of exercise at the moment, because I quite enjoy taking Azura swimming. She really is a water baby!’ Alesha tells OK! magazine, out now.

‘Since having Azura I haven’t been able to exercise as much as I’d like, but I just try to make it my lifestyle.

‘You have a clearer head and it energises you the more you do. I did a lot of swimming when I was pregnant and, prior to that, I did a lot of running and body conditioning with a personal trainer.’

Alesha has been dating her boyfriend Azuka Ononye since 2012 and the couple have been seeing their daughter’s personality come out more and more.

‘She’s got a wonderful personality. She’s very cheeky – each day she shows more of her cheeky side,’ she says.
