Ciara’s Approach To Baby Weight Loss? Don’t Overthink It…

R’n’B singer Ciara believes the key to shaping up post-baby is have a goal, but not stress too much about how soon you get there

Ciara, we like your thinking. The Future, Sex, Love, Sounds singer recently admitted that while she does have a plan and goal when it comes to losing her baby weight, her approach is quite laid back.

Speaking at an event for Degree Women (a deodorant brand) in New York City yesterday, she said, ‘I think it’s about letting things be organic.

‘You should set some goals and you should set up a plan to achieve your goal then just dial it in, but I don’t think you should overthink the process of getting there. You’ve got to have fun and enjoy being a mom.’

The singer gave birth to her son, Future Zahir Wilburn, in May this year with her now ex-boyfriend, also called Future.

She has previously posed for W Magazine while eight months pregnant, admitting that pregnancy had posed a fashion challenge for her and she’d endedup wearing her boyfriend’s clothes.

Dressed head-to-toe in an eye-catching loosely fitting red suit from Italian fashion label Sportmax, Ciara has teamed up with Degree Women to support their campaign to help encourage motivate and inspire women to do what they love and work hard for their goals.

‘I’ve always been very excited to be working with Degree Women because the message that they’re pushing is all about inspiring and encouraging a woman to do more of what they love.’
