Video! Have You Hugged Your Chicken Today?

Just in time for Easter, one mum has posted a video of her son lovingly hugging a chicken (yep, you read that right) on YouTube

While most of us would be a bit worried about getting pecked mid cuddle, the child in Gretchen Brumley’s video embraces the chicken with absolutely no qualms – and the chicken’s response is incredible.

Instead of squirming and fighting being restrained, as you expect, the chicken simply gets into a comfortable position and rests her head on the boy’s shoulder before staying completely still for the duration of the cuddle.

A nearby rooster even appears to be a bit jealous of all the attention his female friend’s getting.

Since being uploaded only two days ago, the video has racked up almost 40,000 views – a number that we reckon will shoot up quickly.
