The shortlist for Celebrity Mum of the Year 2015 has been announced, with the British public nominating six reality TV stars into the final 10.

The famous mums taking pole position include Katie Price (who will be competing for her third title), Katie Piper, Abbey Clancy, X Factor winner Sam Bailey, TOWIE star Billie Faiers and infamous Marmite mother, Katie Hopkins.

The lucky finalists have a grand total of 21 children between them

This year stars of the small screen have also stolen the nation's heart – with This Morning presenter Holly Willoughby and The Voice co-host Emma Willis both securing a top spot. The 2015 top 10 is completed by Girls Aloud's Kimberley Walsh and The Saturdays' Frankie Bridge.

The lucky finalists have a grand total of 21 children between them. Katie Price has been a mother the longest, with son Harvey aged 12, while Kimberley Walsh had her first child, son Bobby, just over 5 months ago. Both Abbey Clancy and Frankie Bridge are currently pregnant.

The Duchess of Cambridge narrowly missed out, after finishing in 11th place.

But the shock of the shortlist goes to mum-of-three Katie Hopkins, who, despite her outspoken, love-or-hate attitude, is striking a chord with Brits.

Speaking of her win last year, former Liberty X singer and mum-of-two Michelle Heaton, commented: "I'm really honoured to be named as Celebrity Mum of the Year. The fact the award is voted for by fellow mums out there makes it even more special. I'm one very happy mummy!"

Celebrity Mum of the Year has been running for 14 years and honours the celebrity mum who has best demonstrated her ability to balance her role as a celebrity with that of being a mother.
