Channing Tatum Says Being A Dad Has Made Him 'Fappy'

It seems like fatherhood has relaxed actor Channing Tatum, as he admits that spending time with his family is more important than working out right now

Channing Tatum is, in his own words, ‘fappy’ – that’s fat and happy to you and I.

Since becoming a dad last year, the Magic Mike actor has said goodbye to his washboard abs and taken time off to spend to with his new baby. And while we are sad to say goodbye to the sight of Channing’s lean torso, we love that he’s taking paternity leave (LINK) to really get to know his daughter.

‘Right now, what me and my wife [actress Jenna Dewan-Tatum] like to call it, I am fappy. I’m very fat and happy right now,’ Channing told Ellen DeGeneres on her show last night.

The couple, who met on the set of dance flick Step Up, are parents to a baby daughter named Everly, who is now eight months old. And apparently at even a less than a year old, she has a better ear for music than her dad.

‘[Everly] actually has better taste in music than I think I do, because she only will fall asleep to really good music,’ the actor told Ellen.

Maybe Everly will opt for a music career over acting then… Watch this space.
