The footballer has dished out some parenting pearls of wisdom to Kate and Wills, after news broke earlier this week that they’re expecting their second child
As a dad of four, David Beckham has plenty of experience in the parenting department. And the 39 year old has shared some of his advice with soon-to-be parents of two Kate and Wills.
‘Get some sleep because jumping from one child to two is a big step – even though I thought jumping from two to three was bigger,’ David advised the royal couple on ITV show Lorraine.

‘I’m so happy for them both because they’re such great parents and obviously to be great parents and to have the roles that they have, as important as they have, is really incredible. I’m just happy they’re going to have another little one running around the house,’ he continued.
It was announced, via Twitter, on Monday that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expecting their second baby. It’s not known how far along Kate is in her pregnancy but Clarence House have revealed that she’s suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum – which she struggled with when pregnant with George, too. But Prince William has assured us that he’s looking after his wife.

‘She’s feeling OK,’ he said ‘It’s been a tricky few days but we’re immensely thrilled. It’s early days but we’re hoping things settle down and she feels a lot better.’ Kate’s illness means she missed the opening of Invictus Games last night, but William, Camilla and Prince Charles were all present to support the event that’s been set up by Prince Harry’s.
