The Thor actor and his Spanish wife welcomed twin boys yesterday
Australian actor Chris Hemsworth has become a father again after his wife, Elsa Pataky gave birth to twin boys on Friday. The couple already have a 22-month-old daughter called India Rose.
Reports by E! News claim the couple checked into Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles – a popular choice for Hollywood stars – on Thursday. It’s not known how the twins were delivered, but Chris was allegedly spotted nervously pacing the halls of the hospital accompanied by a security guard.
The couple announced they were expected in November last year, but Elsa admitted she didn’t want to find out the sex of the twins.
Speaking to HOLA! magazine, the blonde actress said she chose not to find out the sex before because ‘I didn't want to obsess over it’.
She also revealed that when she began getting too big to bend down comfortably, Chris stepped up his efforts in helping around the home, taking on the lion's share of the work with their toddler, India, including taking her for bike rides and organising bathtime. Awww!
And Chris is clearly loving fatherhood. Speaking to Parade magazine last year, he said, ‘I think [parenthood] brings out the child in all of us.
‘That's what's so beautiful. It reminds you of the fascination you had with things, and how you can spend hours just being with someone. It's amazing.’ *Sigh*
The couple haven’t yet announced any names for the twins yet (perhaps Thor and Loki?!) but we’ll keep you posted when they do.
