Drew Barrymore has shared the first pictures of her newborn Frankie in People magazine – and revealed what life as a mum-of-two is like.
The Blended actress, 39, who gave birth to her second child Frankie in April, spoke of how her daughter Olive has reacted to having a newborn in the house.
‘Olive loves Frankie and just wants to hang out with her all the time,’ she said.
‘She wants to feed her. She’s super into it. That’s now. I’m sure things will ebb and flow.’
Drew revealed that having a brother or sister for her daughter Olive was very important to her and her husband Will Kopelman, as it was something she craved herself as an only child.
I've just been so excited. I wanted a sibling for Olive so badly,' Drew told People. 'I really knew this was the right path.’
Not unlike every other new mum out there, Drew also revealed how having two youngsters of different ages - and a career - is real ‘juggling act’.
'They're awake and asleep at different times sometimes, or awake at the same time, and it's a juggling act a little bit.'
‘I didn't think I could go back to work honestly. I didn't want to be away from my kids and it just wasn't the priority,' Drew said.
'With Adam, he makes everything really safe because he really creates an environment where kids can come and be a part of it. It was a really big lesson for me,' she added.
Drew is reuniting with Adam Sandler in the new comedy Blended, opening this Friday in UK cinemas.
