The shortlist for the icelolly.com Celebrity Mum of the Year 2016 award has been announced - with some real head-to-head battles to be fought. 

Essex's most famous siblings, Billie and Sam Faiers, will go head-to-head after both making it into the final 10 - with Billie defending her crown after winning the accolade last year. 

Peter Andre’s current and ex-wife are also in the line-up - Emily MacDonagh and Katie Price are both in the running. Katie has won the award twice before, in 2012 and 2007. She has recently been in the news after piercing baby Bunny’s ears, and allowing Princess to wear a LOT of makeup

Britain's favourite singer, Adele, with an ever-growing army of fans behind her, is widely expected to be right up there after making her first appearance in the annual award's top 10, where she is joined by another of the nation's sweethearts, Olympic track and field supremo Jessica Ennis-Hill.

A sign of the times, 2016 sees YouTube superstar Louise Pentland join the celebrity list, highlighting vloggers' monumental and rapid rise in popularity. Mum to a four-year-old girl, Louise – who counts Internet darling Zoella as one of her best friends – has amassed a legion of seven million followers on social media under the pseudonym of 'Sprinkle Of Glitter'.
