Kim Kardashian Admits ‘I’d Rather Spend Time With My Family Than Work’

The reality star and entrepreneur has said that while she strives to juggle work and motherhood, having a baby has made her rethink her priorities

Kim Kardashian has said she found it particularly ‘tough’ going out to work soon after her daughter, North, was born.

Speaking to US news channel CNBC, Kim said, ‘You know, now that I'm married, I would so much rather spend time with my husband, my family and my baby than run around the world working for other people.

‘It gets tough after you have a baby. There [have been] so many times when I just didn't wanted to get up and work on something.’

However, she was also quick to say that working mothers could ‘have it all’ when it came to juggling their personal and professional lives and that it was her mother and manager, Kris Jenner, who was her true inspiration.

‘My mom kind of taught us girls we could have it all. You know, she works hard. She taught us that if you work hard, it's just all about prioritising,’ said Kim.

Jetting off across the world in luxury may seem a far cry from fitting in the nursery run on the way to a crammed 8.15am train to the office, but we get her point.
