Catherine Tyldesley, known for playing Eva Price on Coronation Street, has announced that she is expecting a baby boy.
The 31-year-old actress was convinced she was having a boy from the word go, and her latest scan proved her motherly intuition was correct.
‘I had no doubt whatsoever that we were having a boy,' says Catherine in OK! magazine. 'It sounds weird but I knew from the moment I found out I was pregnant. When the scan confirmed it, I’ve never seen Tom so happy.’

Coronation Street is experiencing a baby boom, with three of the cast, including fellow co-stars Paula Lane and Jennie McAlpine, now expecting.
‘For all three of us it’s our first baby, so we say: '‘Do you get this? Are you craving that?’' It’s really nice we’re all experiencing it together.'
The actress also revealed the happy news that she and her partner Tom Pitfield are tying the knot, following his romantic proposal in Venice last month.

There won’t be a rush to walk down the aisle, however, as the couple would like their baby boy to be part of their big day.
‘We haven’t set a date or booked a venue yet – we’ll have the baby first – but we’ve spoken about bits and bobs.
‘We both said it would be better when the baby’s at least a year old because we want our son to be a part of our wedding day,’ she added.
