EastEnders Actress Jacqueline Jossa Asks For Pregnancy Advice

Mum-to-be Jacqueline Jossa, known for playing Lauren Branning in EastEnders, is still getting used to her growing bump – and the side effects that come with being pregnant

The star, who's expecting a baby with TOWIE hunk Dan Osbourne, took to Twitter to ask for advice as to why she feels like she is going to have nosebleeds whenever she enters a shopping centre, worrying that she might just be ‘odd’.

‘Why do I feel like I'm going to have a nose bleed whenever I am in a shopping centre, is it something to do with pregnancy or am I just odd?’ she wrote.

Her followers were quick to put her fears at rest, claiming it is a common pregnancy side effect.

According to NHS Choices, nosebleeds are quite common in pregnancy because of hormonal changes.

Extra blood flow is at the root of nosebleeds and bleeding gums, says Dr Virginia Beckett, from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists.

‘Your increased blood supply is putting pressure on delicate veins. The good news is it’s nothing to worry about, and not a sign of high blood pressure.’

The actress is clearly getting used to her burgeoning baby bump too, which is becoming harder to hide on set. ‘Feeling huge today, only going to get bigger now trying to hide bump on set isn't easy anymore #bumpproblems,’ she wrote.
