Kimberley Walsh Talks Baby Names

The pregnant Girls Aloud songstress has opened up about baby names – and she says her best friend Cheryl Cole would be present at the birth if she could be

The prospect of meeting a new son or daughter is always an exciting one, particularly if it’s your first. So we can hardly blame Kimberley Walsh for drawing up a shortlist of possible baby names.

Speaking during the Health Lottery Tea Party at London’s Savoy Hotel, Kimberley told the gossip site EntertainmentWise.com that she has a whole host of potential names – even if she doesn’t know the sex yet.

‘I’ve got a shortlist of boys and girls, but I’m not sold on anything yet,’ the star revealed. ‘I feel like I need to see them and hopefully it will all make sense to me.’

Work is still high on Kimberley’s priorities, though, as she said that ‘with regards to me working, I think you just have to go with it and see how you feel. The good thing is we can always carry on working… I’ll just have to find the right balance.

The Girls Aloud singer also added that her bandmate and BFF Cheryl Cole wants to be present at all stages of the pregnancy, including birth:

‘Cheryl wants to be a part of everything. She even gets excited about my morning sickness in a way ‘cos it’s all part of the baby package. I’m sure she’ll have on a nurse’s uniform – and be bossing people about if she could at the birth. It’s very sweet.’

What do you make of Kimberley’s statement? Would you want your BFF present at the birth of your baby? Let us know in the comments box below.
