Pregnancy Style Steals The Show At The Golden Globes

Award season has officially begun, with the prestigious Golden Globes taking place last night. And the red carpet was dominated by the oh-so-amazing maternity style of Hollywood’s pregnant leading ladies

Being pregnant definitely didn’t get in the way of looking fabulous at last night’s Golden Globes. Drew Barrymore, Olivia Wilde and Kerry Washington stole the show in their three very different maternity gowns, each looking glowing and gorgeous.

Drew Barrymore, 36, opted for a loose-fitting number which skimmed her bump. The capped-sleeve Monique Lhuillier dress that the actress chose was entirely covered in bright pink and orange floral embellishments, suiting Drew’s hippy-esque style to a tee.

Following the awards, the Never Been Kissed star, who’s already a mum to 14-month-old daughter Olive with husband Will Kopelman, stopped off on her way home for a cheeky slice of pizza to satisfy those cravings.

Olivia Wilde, 26, decided to go for a slinkier number, showing that pregnant women can indeed still smoulder. The actress, who wasn’t up for an award but presented one, wore a floor-length emerald green Gucci gown which was entirely covered in sequins. Tight fitting, this dress proudly displayed Olivia’s bump.

Meanwhile Kerry Washington, 36, took the awards as an opportunity to FINALLY confirm to the world that she is expecting her first baby. The Scandal nominee looked flawless in a Balenciaga dress that opened around her growing bump.

‘I have the best date of the night my little accessory here,’ Kerry told E! News on the red carpet. We couldn’t be happier for the Django Unchained actress.

But that wasn’t it for pregnancy style last night. Idris Elba took along his heavily pregnant girlfriend Naiyana Garth, who looked stunning in a v-neck black Tiffany Rose number, and Thor actor Chris Helmsworth was spotted on the red carpet with his wife Elsa Pataky, who’s pregnant with the couple’s second child.
