Pregnant Catherine Tyldesley Reveals She’s Engaged!

The Coronation Street actress’ news comes just days after announcing she’s expecting her first baby

It’s a double whammy of excitement for Corrie’s Catherine Tyldesley who plays Eva Price. The actress, who announced her pregnancy last week, has revealed she’s now engaged to boyfriend Tom Pitfield.

Catherine, 30, took to Twitter over the weekend and posted ‘So pleased to tell you all that I'm going to be Mrs Pitfield :-) I said YES!!! Love you @TP_PTfitness So happy :-) what a year!!!’

And today she posted a birthday message to Tom with, ‘Happy Birthday to my gorgeous fiancée (God I love saying that) @TP_PTfitness . Have a whip ass day. I love you so much xxxx’

Catherine has spoken about her whirlwind relationship with Tom – and her disbelief over how much has changed in her life so quickly.

‘If you'd told me that before my next birthday I was going to meet someone as amazing as Tom, the person I want to spend the rest of my life with, and that we were going to be planning for our first baby, I would not have believed you in a million years,’ she told Hello.
