Pregnant Duchess Of Cambridge Cancels First Solo Tour Abroad

Kate Middleton has had to pull out of her impending trip to Malta, because of a pregnancy-related illness

Since it was revealed last week that K Mid is pregnant with her second child and once again suffering from Hyperemesis Gravidarum, rumours have been circling that the Duchess will have to pull out of her first solo foreign trip. And Kensington Palace has revealed that is the case.

Kate, 32, who was due to go to Malta this weekend in her first alone royal appearance aboard, is still suffering from the effects of Hyperemesis Gravidarum and so has made the decision to cancel the trip.

‘The decision not to travel was taken by the Duke and Duchess on the advice of the Duchess's doctors,’ said a Kensington Palace spokesman.
