Rebecca Ferguson Admits Her Collapse On Loose Women Was Due To Pregnancy… Although She Didn’t Know It At The Time

The singer took a pregnancy test after the show because of her dramatic end of show collapse

When singer and X Factor finalist Rebecca Ferguson collapsed during a live performance on ITV’s Loose Women, it left us wondering if she was ill or possibly even pregnant.

And we weren’t the only ones. Rebecca has revealed that after the show finished, she took a pregnancy test because she suspected she might be expecting, only for the results to come back as negative.

Speaking on the chat show via telephone this week, Rebecca, 27, told the panel,

‘What's funny is after the show, I took a test because I was thinking "This is weird! What's going on with my body?" and it came up negative.’

‘I was like “How strange!” I've got all of the pregnancy symptoms but after the show I ended up spending two days resting in bed.

‘I kept on saying to everyone, “I've got pregnancy symptoms,” so it was really weird, and then a couple of days later I took another test and it was positive!’

The Liverpudlian singer, who’s already mum to Lillie, May, nine, and Karl, seven, announced her surprise pregnancy to Twitter followers two weeks ago with the message: ‘Yes I am having a new lovely baby. Children are such a blessing and I'm grateful to God for my new little gift xx.’

Did you have any signs you might be pregnant before you took your test? Let us know below.
