Video! Kate Winslet Opens Up About Her Pregnancy Cravings

The Academy Award-winning actress has admitted she’s craving orange juice – and lots of it – during her third pregnancy

Kate Winslet, 38, is expecting her third baby with husband Ned Rocknroll (yes, that really is his name), who works in the space travel division of Virgin Galactic. She chatted about her pregnancy while appearing on the red carpet for the premiere of her latest film, Labor Day.

When quizzed about whether she was getting any weird pregnancy hankerings, she admitted her cravings were much healthier, saying, ‘Not really. I think I’ve been alright. At the moment I just seem to be drinking orange juice quite a lot. I don’t quite know why that is.’

‘But I haven’t been craving anything particularly strange. I wish I could tell you that I had some weird craving. I wish I could be like that woman on the advert who likes tuna fish and banana.’

Kate, who is due this winter, was wearing a plunge neck red evening gown, showing off her pregnancy curves perfectly.

Labor Day, which tells the story of a divorced mother and her 13-year-old son who offer an injured man a place to stay, has generated some fantastic reviews and there’s already talk of it being Oscar-deserving.

But Kate’s obviously got other things to think about as well as winning awards, admitting, ‘It hasn't even crossed my mind, I'm so absorbed in baby. Awards season is always a huge amount of fun whether you're a part of it or not. It's always really exciting seeing what films are coming and a lot of new talent as well.’
