Prince William And Kate Middleton Jet Off On Holiday – But Leave George Behind

It’s shaping up to be a good year for Kate Middleton. The new mum has only just got back from sunning herself in the Caribbean and now Wills has whisked her off on a romantic holiday á deux.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge landed in the Maldivian capital, Male, yesterday flanked by Scotland Yard detectives. But one family member was missing – their seven-month-old baby son George.

Kate and Wills are thought to be staying at the five star Cheval Blanc Randheli Hotel. And rumour has it the couple hasn’t just booked one villa but has reserved the entire resort for the week.

The royal baby is said to be staying with his maternal grandparents at their Berkshire mansion while his parents enjoy some alone time.

Prince George has already had one holiday this year though – he accompanied his mum and the Middleton clan to the Caribbean last month – and he’ll be embarking on an adventure with both his parents next month. The family are set to embark on their first tour of Australia and New Zealand together with George (and a team of nannies and assistants) in tow.

If you haven’t yet spent a night away from your baby, here’s how to make it easier for both of you when it does happen.

When was your first holiday without your baby? Let us know in the comments box below.
