Reese Witherspoon: ‘My older kids are so in love with their baby brother’

Best thing about having both teens and toddlers in your brood? The older ones ‘help out so much’, reveals Walk the Line star Reese

With three kids and a busy career, Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon certainly has her work cut out.

Mother to Ava, 15, and sons Deacon, 11, and Tennessee, two, talented Reese – soon to be seen in much-anticipated new film Wild – calls family life 'interesting' because 'two different things are happening all the time.’

Speaking on the Today show, the 38-year-old confessed that the age gap between her older children (from her marriage to Ryan Phillippe) and toddler Tennessee (with husband number two Jim Toth) makes for a fun family dynamic.

‘It's kind of great because my older kids are just so in love with their baby brother and help out so much’ she said. ‘It's like having this big extended family. We always talk about in our house, the more people that love you, the better your life is. So, I love it.'
