Roger Federer’s Wife Gives Birth To ANOTHER Set Of Twins

It’s double trouble for the multi Grand Slam-winning tennis champion Roger Federer, 32, and his wife Mirka, who have described their happiness at welcoming a second set of twins.

The Swiss star, who had earlier pulled of out the Madrid Open ahead of the impending birth, announced the news on Twitter, writing, ‘Mirka and I are so incredibly happy to share that Leo and Lenny were born this evening! #TwinsAgain#Miracle’.

The current world no.4 and his wife are already parents to identical twin daughters Myla and Charlene, now four years old. With the addition of two little boys Leo and Lenny, it looks like it’s going to be a full house for the Swiss family.

Twins are surprisingly common – around 12,000 sets of twins are born a year in the UK, the majority identical, with a number of factors such as family history, maternal age and nationality contributing to the chance of conceiving twins. However, having a second set of twins is a whole lot more rare, with odds increasing to about 12,500 to one, according to a BBC report.

Can we be expecting a mixed doubles team of mini Federers in the future? We sure hope so!

Until then, we're sure there'll be plenty of fun and games in a house with four little ones aged four and under…
