Simon Cowell: ‘Nappies Are Not For Me’

The X Factor boss and new dad his sticking to his pre-baby promises when it comes down to some (rather crucial) dad duties…

Before baby Eric arrived last month, Simon Cowell did warn everyone that he wouldn’t help out with his son’s nappy changes. We wondered if he was joking – but obviously not…

The new dad, 54, has revealed that he leaves nappy changing to his son’s nanny. But he is hands-on in other ways.

‘I feed Eric, I talk to him and play with him, but I don’t think dads do changing nappies,’ he told Sky News. ‘I’ll leave that up to the nanny.’

Since Eric was born, Simon has posted Instagram snaps and tweeted pics of his son. The new dad is even rumoured to be feeling a bit broody for baby number two.

Simon and his partner Lauren Silverman are also thought to have been busy introducing their son to family and friends – including Simon’s mum who the couple were photographed visiting this week.

Eric is Simon’s first child The couple is thought to be raising their baby between New York, where Lauren lives, and the UK, where Simon is currently filming Britain’s Got Talent.
