Tamara Ecclestone’s baby daughter Sophia is only three weeks old, but she’s already getting used to a life of luxury.
The tiny tot was spotted being wheeled around London in her magnificent pink Silver Cross pram yesterday, with mum Tamara and dad Jay Rutland beaming with pride at the small, very cute human they have created.
We imagine the pram drew quite a few looks from passers-by, given that it has been decked out in a bright pink covering and thousands of sparkling Swarovski crystals.
‘Sophia has turned my world upside down in an amazing way and I’ve never been happier.’
The standard Silver Cross Balmoral model doesn’t come cheap itself, priced at £1,450 – but with all those crystals, plus the ‘Sophia’ nameplate emblazoned across the front, it must have cost considerably more for Tamara’s sister Petra, who bought the pram as a present for the new parents.
Little Sophia was born on March 17th and within hours of her birth Tamara had Instagrammed a picture of the two of them enjoying some skin to skin time.
‘Welcome to the world Sophia, our beautiful baby girl, born yesterday 6lb 9oz. Proudest day of our lives, never felt love like this. X,’ she captioned it.
She has also been talking to Hello magazine about her transition to parenthood, saying it is the ‘best thing that’s ever happened’ to her and that she is enjoying every minute.
‘I knew I would love it - I just didn't know how much. I feel born to be a mother,’ she said.
‘Although I've always wanted children, I’ve never felt that intensely before. But Sophia has turned my world upside down in an amazing way and I’ve never been happier.
‘Having my own family with Jay is just perfect,’ Tamara added.
