The Royal baby is on its way!

The Duchess of Cambridge has gone into the early stages of labour with her second baby - good luck Kate!

Kate was admitted to the private Lindo Wing of St Mary’s Hospital, London, at 6am today (Saturday, May 2).

Prince William is with the Duchess inside her private suite, the couple having arrived by car quietly through one of the many side doors to the hospital, avoiding the many waiting fans camping outside the front of the hospital.

We have officially been on #RoyalBabyWatch for several days now, with Kate thought to be several days overdue.

We now wait eagerly to hear more news about the Royal birth, and whether Prince George will have a brother or sister.

The news was announced via Kensington Palace’s Twitter account - which is how we expect to learn about the arrival of the baby, in a twist away from tradition.
