Why We Love Halle Berry’s Approach To Post-Baby Weight Loss

The Oscar-winning actress has shared her views on dieting after having her son, Maceo last year.

When squeezing back into your size 0 jeans is the norm with most women in Hollywood, you’ve got to love a star with a sensible approach to post-baby weight loss. 
 
Actress Halle Berry, 47, has revealed that dieting isn't top of her to-do list because she’s breastfeeding.
 
Speaking to People Magazine at the annual Revlon Run/Walk for Women, she said, ‘When you’re nursing you can’t really diet because you have to keep producing milk.
 
‘I’m healthy and I’m happy and that’s all that matters.’
 
Halle also revealed how she’s juggling her career with looking after her newborn.
 
‘[A new baby means] less sleep,’ she said. ‘And I’m working on the TV show. It’s a new grind, it’s a new rhythm. We’re trying to get used to that. We’re managing.’
 
Halle gave birth to her son, Maceo, now seven months, last year, and is also mum to six-year-old Nahla, from her relationship with former partner Gabriel Aubry. She has previously spoken about becoming a mum in her 40s, saying, 'it’s been a big surprise and most wonderful.'
