Would You Tweet That Your Baby Was On The Way? One Of The Jonas Brothers Did…

Section: Celebrity Mums

When his wife went into labour, popstar Kevin Jonas made sure he updated his Twitter followers

One of the Jonas brothers was so excited that his wife was in labour that he tweeted a picture of the hospital's heartbeat monitor to his four million followers.

Kevin Jonas and his wife Danielle have been keeping their many Twitter followers constantly updated throughout her pregnancy, so it's no surprise that he also let them know that his wife had gone into hospital.

The picture showed the computer screen with Danielle's details and a graph showing her and her baby's heartbeat.

He wrote on Sunday, "#babyjonas is on the way!! It's showtime #thisisnotadrill"

And last night, #babyjonas finally arrived and was, not surprisingly, announced on Twitter. Kevin and Danielle welcomed a baby girl called Alena Rose and posted a picture of mum and baby looking happy.

Kevin had continued to tweet throughout the birth including one that simply said,

Even more bizarrely, the birth seems to have been sponsored by a US washing detergent brand, who also got involved in the live tweeting and retweeted Kevin's tweets.
