National Chocolate Week - it’d be rude not to celebrate!

Celebrate all the good things chocolate can do for you on National Chocolate Week! Stock up on chocolate truffles, strawberry creams, chocolate biscuits, and more... and embrace recent research that chocolate is good for the heart. Chocolate is full of good vitamins, such as potassium, zinc, and selenium, and a 100g bar of dark (70 per cent or more) choc provides 67 per cent of the RDA of iron. Flavonols in dark chocolate can protect the skin against sun damage - but please still use suncream - while some research say chocolate can reduce stress in pregnant mothers. It also encourages the release of endorphins. What more excuse do you need!
