Healthy dips for vegetables for kids by Annabel Karmel

Help your youngster love veg with these tasty dips. They go down a treat with crunchy carrots, cooling cucumber and sweet, colourful peppers.

Thousand Island dip

  • 2 tbsp Greek yoghurt

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 2 tsp ketchup

  • Juice of half a lemon

  • 1-2 drops Worcestershire sauce

Sweet chilli & cream cheese dip

  • 100g light cream cheese

  • 1 tsp sweet chilli sauce

  • 1 tsp chives, chopped

Ranch dip

  • 3 tbsp sour cream

  • 2 tbsp mayonnaise

  • 1 tsp lime (optional)

  • 1 tsp coriander, chopped

  • 1 tsp chives, chopped

Mango & cream cheese dip

  • 4 tbsp low-fat cream cheese

  • 3 tbsp natural yogurt

  • 1 tbsp mango chutney

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice

  • A pinch of curry powder
