Like many babies his age, it turns out Prince George is a fan of splashing about in water. At the Commonwealth games this week, the Duchess of Cambridge told former Olympic swimmer James Hickman that the one year old ‘loves the water’.

Research revealed nearly half of us are forgetting to apply sunscreen

In a survey of more than 5,200 people, carried out by Cancer Research UK and NIVEA SUN, 47 percent of parents admitted to forgetting to protect their own skin after applying their children’s sunscreen. And while nine out of 10 of the UK parents surveyed made sure that their children’s skin was protected before protecting their own, 80 percent admitted to getting sunburnt themselves.
