Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

The Kiddylicious wafers are a firm favourite for both my toddler and baby. These are conveniently packed in twos making them easy to carry around or pop in a packed lunch.  Containing natural ingredients is a reassurance you are not feeding sugary snacks to your children.  The flavours are subtle and colour of the wafers match without leaving any nasty stains or sticky fingers.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The convenient twin packs make these snacks handy to keep in my bag when out and about, but are also handy to keep my baby happy when he is being impatient for his meal that’s not quite ready without filling him up.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The flavours could be a little stronger, the carrot ones especially. I personally couldn't really taste much, I certainly wouldn't have said it was carrot flavoured if asked.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

I would recommend this to a friend. Both of my children like these (2 and 7 months). Good range of tastes and ideal size for baby to hold on to. Ideal for baby to practice getting food to his mouth with minimal mess.

Minimal mess, ideal to encourage self-feeding.

Price.

Easy for little ones to hold and eat, the wafers come in handy packs of two.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

It's a good healthy snack with no added extras.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Maybe come in resealable packets.

It is easy to use out and about. The foil wrapper keeps them well and having 2 in each pack is useful.

Quick snack when out and about that doesn't require having a whole pack of rice cakes.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I can't get past that they don't look nutritious. Whilst they might not be better than rice cakes in reality, they look more wholesome.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

This is a great product for snacks and to support baby's first steps in beginning to feed themselves. The wafers are the perfect size to fit into a little fist and to ensure they can keep their grip whilst eating. I was impressed with the range of flavours and it is really handy that each foil-wrapped packet holds two wafers; great for taking out as a snack and keeping them fresh. Also, the wafers melt in the mouth, meaning they are suitable for even younger babies. The packaging is attractive and appealing.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

The wafers are packaged into a handy snack pack that is foil wrapped, making it easy to slip into your handbag and keep it fresh during the day. The product melts in baby's mouth so is perfect for an early weaning snack.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

I wouldn't change a thing.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

We really enjoyed the carrot flavour of the wafers but the other two flavours didn’t go down well, one bite and it came back out. I tried it and it almost seemed to be too sweet, which is why I don’t think my daughter got on well with the other flavours.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

We really liked the small handy pouches they come in and the fact there is two in one pouch but they break if they have been in a changing bag all day and when they are then opened it goes everywhere and is no longer feasible for my daughter to hold.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The only thing I would do is make the packaging sturdier or in case those in cardboard as they get battered around too easily when put in a changing bag. If you want a snack in the house they are perfect as they are small and don’t overly fill your child.

Really handy pack size to keep in the cupboard and the individual wafer packs are great to keep in your bag. The shape of them is also perfect for little hands!

It's a great snack to have on hand that you know is healthy.

Nothing.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

These Kiddylicious Wafers are a good product for early weaning. The packaging looks good and the description suggests that it's a quality product. The shape of the product is very easy for my baby to hold and the flavour is subtle enough for a baby. They melt easily in baby's mouth so can be easily swallowed. I would recommend these to other mums.

In the early stages of weaning gagging is a concern. These were an excellent shape and texture for my baby to get used to solids. The variety of flavours is good and the flavour is not overpowering for baby. They come packaged in pairs of wafers which is great for lunch bags and for keeping them fresh. They are a quick and handy snack for baby, particularly when on the go.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

When you look at the ingredient list and what the wafers consist of it's hard to believe that a pack of two wafers could be so expensive. The multi-packs are fractionally better value but these are too expensive for what they are. When you think how many snacks you get in other bags for half of the price, these are pitched as a high end product. Also, they are so light that they would only really be suitable for early weaning. They might not be substantial enough for older children.

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

Yes, I would recommend Kiddylicious Wafers to a fellow mum. These snacks are brilliant. No mess, easy to hold for a baby and the packaging is lightweight and easy to grab on the way out. My little girl has been eating these for the last six months, they are our go to snack when going out, knowing I can stick them in the back pack without them spoiling - I swear they don't even break- at least we haven't had to deal with broken crumbly bits just yet.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

NO MESS. This is a huge plus which should be the main selling point - should be bigger printed on the box. Never again will I buy baby rusks, even rice cakes- they continuously end up covering my baby in crumbs or breaking apart and getting stuck on my carpet.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

Probably the design of the packaging - not very adventurous or child-appealing. It’s too safe and simple, when looking amongst other leading baby brands it’s a bit boring, most are really colourful and matt designs, whereas this could look cheap and only a supermarket competitor rather than against other leading brands.

Tested by mum Debbie Barrett for the M&B Awards 2016:

Why would you recommend this product to a friend/fellow mum?

These Kiddylicious Wafers were just so insubstantial - there was really nothing to them. I tried a few different flavours with my daughter and she just wasn't interested in them at all.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

Didn't make my life easier as I had to keep offering an alternative when she didn't like these.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

The concept of the product just doesn't work for me I'm afraid...
