Little Dish ready meals are simply yummy! The packaging is eye-catching, with ingredients clearly listed. The meals can be kept in the fridge or frozen and the portion sizes are good; the best thing about them is that they are ‘normal’ food – not at all sloppy; as good as anything homemade. They are great for a quick lunch or dinner but the meals are expensive; too expensive for everyday use but great as a backup!

Would you recommend Little Dish Toddler Meals to other mums?

I would recommend them in a flash. They come in a fantastic range of flavours, they're stocked in the major supermarkets and the packaging is lovely too. The portion size is just right for my 17-month-old little girl and she has a very good appetite. They don't have a lot of bulky packaging so they're easy to store in the fridge and with a few holes popped in the top of the film they just go right into the microwave. They're also oven friendly if you'd rather.

How did this product make your life easier?

I love that if my daughter’s having one of her fussy days I can give her one of these meals knowing quite happily that they contain at least 1 of her 5 a day. They are also low in salt and other baddies that you might find in a typical 'ready meal' so I can feed her these feeling guilt free. Sometimes you don't have time to prepare a meal or haven't defrosted something you've previously made so having something in the fridge ready to ping in the microwave makes life much easier with a hungry toddler!!

They're affordable, readily available and having nibbled some of Sasha's they're really tasty. As I've said previously the main selling point for me is being able to give these to my daughter without feeling guilty. They're basically the quick and easy equivalent of a home cooked meal.

What changes would you make to this product?

I'm really clutching at straws here as there's nothing I want to change about the product, having said that in the meals for one-year-old’s range there is only 1 out of 11 meals only 1 of them doesn't contain meat. This isn't an issue for me however I imagine vegetarian parents would like a little more choice when it comes to feeding their child.

Would you recommend Little Dish Toddler Meals to other mums?

These meals are wonderful. I loved that there was at least 1 of my toddler’s 5 a day in the meal, the portion sizes were just right and so easy to just pop in the microwave. Great to know my child is having a fast ready meal with some nutrition in it. Great if you have a hungry screaming toddler on your hands! The packaging was great too, with the little cardboard cut off which if my child was a little older we could have done together as a little activity. The variety was great and my toddler enjoyed them all.

How did this product make your life easier?

In my opinion this product is exceptionally easy to just pop in the microwave. There is no need for me to worry if we're out all day, that I need to get back home at a reasonable time and cut short our adventure to get home and cook my toddler a well balanced meal - I will already have something in the fridge ready to pop in the microwave that is well balanced meal. Also when he goes to the child minder I don't always like my toddler to take a packed lunch so it's great I have another quick and easy option.

Would you choose this product to win?

I really would choose this product above all other, even though it is a little more expensive than others I have seen, I do prefer they advertise the 1-2 of my child’s 5 a day on the packaging, there is quite a variety for me to choose from, I really liked the activity on the packaging that I could partake with my toddler whilst waiting for his meal to be cooked. As this would be, for me, a once a week meal the price doesn't bother me too much as in return I get a quick and balanced meal for my toddler

Would you recommend Little Dish Toddler Meals to other mums?

I would recommend Little Dish Toddler Meals because they have an excellent range of different meals, they're quick and easy to make on days when you don't have the time to cook from scratch but do not have any nasties in them. They are healthy and tasty and my daughter has loved every single meal that she has tried.

How did this product make your life easier?

It makes my life easier as a mum because if I am out and not able to cook a meal from scratch I can pop one of the Little Dish Toddler Meals into the oven or microwave and have something healthy to give to my daughter which she enjoys. I know she is getting the right nutrients and enjoying her meal also.

What changes would you make to this product?

I don't think there is anything that can be improved about this product. The prices of the meals do work out to be slightly more expensive than other brands that I have seen but I think that the quality of Little Dishes is one to compete with. Myself and my daughter have enjoyed trying all of the different meals,

Why would you recommend Little Dish Toddler Meals to a friend/fellow mum?

Great fast and easy meals for little ones. My little boy loves all of the flavours, they are quick to prepare and just the right size. There is a great mix of textures and consistencies to get baby familiar with. Plenty of variety to prevent little one getting bored while still being healthy and natural.

How does this product make your life easier as a mum?

I no longer have to spend time preparing individual healthy meals for my little one.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

They are very expensive, if they were cheaper i would be more likely to purchase on a regular basis.
