Vital Baby’s Nurture Breast-Like Feeding Bottle is lightweight and easy for baby to hold. The wide neck is great for prepping feeds and also makes cleaning a lot easier.

The bottle teats need some improving: they are quite soft and tend to collapse during feeds, which stops milk from coming out, and the flow capacity of the respective teats is not quite right either, with some teats a little too fast-flowing (the medium flow teat in particular) and other teats not fast-flowing enough.

The product is functional and made from quality materials but there is not much to distinguish it from other products on the market.

Tested by mum Kyra Hill, 26, from West Midlands, mum to Kian, two weeks old. She says:

‘This bottle is designed to resemble a nipple, but the teat is very wide. Kian struggled to stay latched on. The bottle is a bit top-heavy and hard to hold for long feeds. It got hot to the touch when using boiled water, but it cooled down quickly. It didn’t seem to reduce colic symptoms.’
