Why would you recommend the Silver Cross Reflex to a friend/fellow mum?

The Silver Cross Reflex Stroller is a great pushchair ride thanks to a great suspension. I have tried quite a few lightweight strollers in my time as a mother of 2 children and the Silver Cross Reflex has just the right features to make it that perfect Stroller. The seat is nicely padded and the adjustable handles are great for myself (5ft8) and my husband (6ft1) to push it with ease.

The storage basket is a good size for an umbrella stroller and will fit all your small to medium sized items inside. The fully reclined seat makes it perfect to use from new born and I love the fact that the leg rest can be folded up when my daughter (18 months) decided to have a nap. The extendable hood is a very generous size and the rain cover is a great fit! Overall the buggy has been made to high standard and does not lack on anything.

Normally I don't take my child out that much when it’s dark but if I do so the safety lights as well as the reflection stripes are a amazing invention and help feel saver on the road/out and about!

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

There isnt anything which I would change on the buggy it’s great as it is!

The Silver Cross Reflex isn't just a standard stroller, the brand has gone the extra mile to give you a high quality, stylish product. There a huge number of colours to choose from (we had yellow and love it). The chassis feels strong and sturdy compared to cheaper strollers I've used. It folds pretty well, although I'm not a fan of the umbrella fold in general. I found this pram really easy to push, it was light, but not flimsy. My son enjoyed sitting in this pram as he was very upright, giving him room to look around. As a toddler he gets annoyed if he is laid back too much, unless he's sleeping.

One thing about this product that would make me choose this over other strollers is that fact you are able to convert it into a parent facing pram, which isn't something I've seen in many strollers before. It has a lot of extra details that make this a long lasting stroller. The bumper bar gives you extras security. The hood is huge and extendable, making days out in the summer safe for the little ones. With the stroller you also have the ability to attach a car seat, making tis a pram suitable from birth.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

For a standard stroller this exceeded my expectations, however the price tag puts me off. I know you are paying for the Silver Cross design and quality, and if you were using this from birth it's worth it, however a lot of parents would buy this as a second pram after their travel system so £250 is a lot of money to spend on a just a stroller.  I would also like a bigger storage basket, or at least one that is easier to access. Once I had filled the basket up, it was a struggle to get things out again, which isn't great if you are in a rush.

The main appeal of this pram in my opinion is the design. It’s really stylish, I love the colour yellow which we were testing, and the other colours look just as fab. The finishing touches were simple but made the pram feeling more expensive - the silver handles, the extra padding on the harness and the extra large canopy. The ability to use it from birth is a real plus, as its not as bulky as travel systems, so perfect for a first time buyer to keep until the toddler years - although saying that, my three year old was way too big for the seat.

The pushchair is lightweight and small enough to fit in my car, knowing that it can easily be shoved in the boot without having the hassle of removing and attaching separates or even wheels like other travel systems is great - especially with a newborn.

If you could change one thing about this product what would it be?

It would probably be the price. Yes, the design is fab, the pros do outweigh any cons, I just feel that within the market the price compared to other pushchairs seemed a bit pricey. Knowing that I've purchased a Haauk, Babystart and Mamas and Papas pushchair for half the price with pretty much the same results would make me double think purchasing it.
