This is a good value and practical choice that’s sturdy and easy to assemble with lots of added extras. Light, compact and very narrow, the Babystyle Oyster is ideal for smaller homes and car boots. It has good storage, too, but the recline mechanism is quite hard to use and hasn’t got great suspension.
This is a great value, smart-looking pram system with lots of bright colour options. Compact and reasonably light at just over 10kg, this would suit your baby from newborn to toddler. The Oyster comes with lots of extras, including raincovers for both pushchair and carrycot and a UV sunshade. It’s easy to switch between modes, although adjusting the harness is a bit fiddly. But there is good storage space with a roomy shopping basket.
When in pushchair mode the seat can be reversed and the bumper bar removed for older children. It’s a shame the pushchair seat isn’t better padded and the recline function is stiff and slightly awkward to use. The suspension means it can be a bumpy ride despite the built in shock absorbers. Good for those short on space and working with a smaller budget.
