2014 – Shortlisted for 'Best Multiple, Twin or Tandem Pushchair or Accessory' Award!
The Britax B-Agile Double is a lovely side-by-side pushchair that is great for a little tot-to-tot socialising whilst ‘on the go’. It assembles easily and folds without complication. The single handle is a great feature, enabling smooth steering and manoeuvrability – it’s also adjustable.
The seats are spacious but not entirely upright, which might not be comfortable for older children. They do, however, fold flat, which is nice for napping! The basket is too shallow and the pushchair is also quite wide and struggles to fit through narrower doorframes or entrances – trains too!
Dads might appreciate a few more gadgets (for better value) but the pushchair is good for everyday use and its superior quality justifies the hefty price tag.
Good-looking pushchair that is perfect for urban life, its light and nippy but less manoeuvrable over rough ground. Narrow, with lots of storage space so ideal for shopping trips.
The twin version of the popular B-Agile buggy has some strong features, including generous storage and roomy seats.
has some strong features, including generous storage and roomy seats
It’s a nice-looking pushchair with seats that are comfortable for twins or a toddler. However, our testers felt it was let down by giving a bit of a bumpy ride, it was also rather unsteady on uneven ground and the wheels rattled slightly. It’s also difficult to get up and down steps. The folding system was very easy to operate though and the seats recline fully so it’s suitable from birth. The central handle and the fact it’s quite light makes it feel quite nippy to push. The B-Agile also has a good five-point harness that’s height adjustable, and the front wheel swivel wheel is lockable too. There is a spacious shopping basket and a storage pocket in the canopy. A good solid buy for urban life.
