A stylish pushchair that can be forward or parent facing but is a bit bulky as a result. Ideal for city living, can transform into a travel system and has good recline options. Suitable from birth by adding a fabric insert which can be bought separately.
The Zapp Extra is nimble model with smart looks and urban styling. The best feature is the lockable swivel wheel that’s helpful when the going gets tough. You can add a Maxi-Cosi car seat (from £130) to form a travel system and the seat can either be forward or parent facing. The downside is that the two-piece design means the seat must be removed before folding, and you have to buy a separate fabric inlay to make the pushchair suitable from birth (£50).
It’s fantastic to maneuver however, not too wide, easy to collapse and comes in an array of lovely vibrant colours too. The seat has five different recline positions and comes with extras including a raincover, sun canopy and carseat adaptors. It’s not the most compact once collapsed, but is a winner as a lightweight travel system that’s perfect for quick trips around town.
