Good looking, nippy and compact system ideal for mums around town. Easy to use and has an optional carrycot that can be used for overnight sleeping.

A sleek, modern and user-friendly design with some unusual features, such as a leather handle, which sets it apart. The Urbo is much more of a city travel system, it’s relatively light and compact, but it does struggle when being pushed over rougher terrain, so not one for country walks (or uneven pavements) and the suspension isn’t great either.

It’s easy to switch between pushchair and car seat though and the chassis is easy to collapse and unfold. You can retract the handle once parked to save space, which is handy and the UPF 50+ weather proof hood gives great sun protection on summer days. You can also buy an optional carrycot (£169) that can be used for occasional overnight sleeping, but the Urbo’s seat can lie completely flat for newborns. The Aton car seat is particularly comfortable and well made. All in all a zippy mid-priced model that suits an urban environment.
