What they say:

“Lidl knows the most important things when choosing a nappy are dryness, protection and comfort. We ensure ultimate dryness and leakage protection, and the Toujours range is now more flexible giving your baby the comfort to explore the world.

“There is no need to pay a premium price for a premium nappy, our prices are low but our quality high. Toujours is dermatologically tested, latex free, skin-friendly and independently tested. Protecting the environment is also important, therefore the padding used is from sustainably managed forests. The slim design means less materials, less packaging and less energy, minimising our carbon footprint.”

A great value nappy that just works. I love that the designs on the nappy and that there is plenty of absorbency in the nappy. The sticky tabs are strong and the overall fit of the nappy works well. I found these nappies worked well on both boys and girls and although they held a lot of urine they weren't bulky on the child. We had no problems with leaks of spillages which is always a huge bonus!

These nappies are really great, they hold a lot so changes are less frequent and they keep baby dry. They are easy to use and seem to last with a very busy and active child. We didn't have any leaks whist using the nappies and the little flaps on the inside kept everything contained in the nappy will it was time to change.

I think that these nappies are real value for money compared to the premium brand available. Now that I am pregnant with baby number four I will never pay a premium price for nappies as supermarket own brands offer so much value and quality. I think the main selling points the cost and overall value for parents. Quality and design are fantastic.

What changes would you make to this product?

There is not a lot I would change about these nappies but if I had to change one thing I would maybe make the tabs at the side slightly more stretchy as I feel this maybe beneficial to a slightly larger child. t

Would you recommend this to other mums?

Yes I would definitely recommend Lidl Toujours Maxi Nappies. They are well sized, easy to put on, and haven't leaked on either of my active, crawling during the day. They also haven't caused any irritation even on my sensitive skinned boy and seem comfortable. They are also exceptional value for money.

How did this product make your life easier?

Lidl Toujours Maxi Nappies have made my life easier because they are such good value so I can save money on them and spend it on other essentials. This is particularly helpful to me as a mum of twins because I can go through 10 nappies a day some days so pricing is just as important to me as comfort and reliability of not leaking.

What changes would you make to this product?

I think they could perhaps be made thicker so as to reliably not leak at night when used for very long periods. I also think the packaging could have its opening tearable part on the side of the nappies which is folded over, so that it is easier to get them out. On the whole however I think these are very well made especially for the price.

At first appearance they looked thin compared to my other brand and I did not think they would be absorbant however they worked as well as my other brand keeping her dry all day and in particular through the night. I did notice when changing her in the morning her skin was wet where as with my usual brand this does not happen.

How did this product make your life easier?

I found when I was using these nappies that they were usable and durable. I did have to change my little one a bit more frequently than I would usually but I think this would probably balance out in relation to cost. I was not informed the price of the product so I am unsure of the value for money but I am assuming it is God value given the supplier.

What changes would you make to this product?

I found even although the site of this product was suited to my little one weight that the nappies were a little tight fitting and left marks. So I would probably advise using a size bigger. I also found that some of the time when I pulled off a sticky bit it would double back on itself and stick down it was very tricky to separate so I went through more nappies.

Having used both branded and non branded competitor nappies, I can say that I would definitely recommend these nappies to other mums and dads. The nappies fit extremely well. My little boy is currently learning to walk and is constantly on the move, we've had no accidents or leaks and they even keep him dry during the night, which some alternative brands haven't managed to do. The pack sizes are ideal and are compactly packed, ideal for travelling or when out and about. A quality product I would definitely recommend and use again.

How did this product make your life easier?

As my little boy is starting to walk he really doesn't like sitting still for long and these nappies have given me peace of mind as they're such a good fit, some nappies can seem quite small around the leg where these give an excellent fit. The nappies are really slim and the packs are compact so they are easily transportable. The nappies are extremely absorbant which means I don't have to worry about about accidental leaks especially during the night. The fit is good, and baby seems happy with the comfort of the nappy.

Having used other branded and non branded nappies I'm really pleased with these nappies and would definitely recommend these nappies. The price is excellent compared to some alternatives on offer and they do exactly the same if not even more absorbent. The fit and comfort is important and these haven't allowed night time leaks. My baby boy is just starting to walk and never sits still and these nappies seems extremely comfortable and fit really well.

What changes would you make to this product?

As my little boy never wants to sit still, changing his nappy is no mean feat. It seems pull-up nappies are only available in bigger sizes though, normally available for sizes as parents are thinking about potty training. However introducing these for smaller sizes and younger babies (especially those just starting to walk) would be perfect and make nappy changing so much easier. Even if they were to have rip tags down the side to allow the nappy to be removed as a normal nappy for when baby has soiled.

YES! These are the closest thing to Pampers as I can find but the price is half! I have told so many mums about them, I cannot rave enough about them!

How did this product make your life easier?

They are the perfect balance between price and usability, I will definitely use them from day 1 with any future children.

They are the best nappies on the market and I have tried lots! They keep my baby’s bottom dry even through the night and they do not cost the earth. The look and feel is exactly like Pampers, if I hadn't seen the packaging I wouldn't have known.

What changes would you make to this product?

I would change nothing!
