I really love the concept of the Gro Anywhere blind. It is smart and well-designed. The stars and moon pattern makes it visually attractive and will allow parents to create interesting bedtime stories. Children will also find it a focal, comfort point. I like the fact that it packs neatly into a travel bag, although it is slightly on the heavy side. The Velcro pads make it very easy to adjust the size. Overall, a good buy that is useful, home or away!
How did this product make your life easier?
My life was definitely easier on holiday as the product packs flat and also looks smart. Setting up a dark room is now easy and my baby settles quickly. The carry bag was also great and made my life more organised when unpacking. Children will understand its 'sleep' time because of the pattern on the blind, which I found very helpful.
Would you choose this product to win?
I am not aware of similar products on the market but think the quality of the product makes it a winner. It is original and attractive in design. The price is a little on the high side but it is worth it, considering this is such a new, convenient, original product.
What changes would you make to this product?
Is it possible to make the suction firmer on the first attempt to attach the blind as I needed to practice this several times.

The Gro Anywhere Blind is an amazing product and I have already recommended it to friends and family. It's lightweight, easy to put up, easy to put away and makes the room very dark, especially in the light evenings! The blind is also very big, I could even fit it onto patio doors, but you can also adjust it to fit small windows too.

I would definitely recommend this product for travelling, especially during the summer months when the nights are lighter for longer. It's so easy to put up and take down, and comes with a handy fold bag which makes transportation so easy! I loved the design too as it is gender neutral. The blind literally fits on every window we tried it on, and these all varied in size considerably.

As we have several relatives living across the country, baby’s sleep routine can be challenging. The Gro Anywhere Blind has made this so much easier when staying at people's houses who wouldn't normally need to black out a room, as it's simple to attach.

This product is not only useful for travelling, it is also great at home as it can be used in any room. You can put it up in your bedroom and then transfer it into your baby's room when she is transitioning to sleeping by himself, reducing the need for costly fitted blinds. It also stays up extremely well so you do not need to worry about it falling down in the night.
How did this product make your life easier?
We were struggling with the level of light in our bedroom, meaning our baby wouldn't settle easily for naps and woke regularly during the early stages of the evening. However, this blind has enabled us to block out the sun, making her settle quicker. It was easy to put up and has been so helpful to us.

I feel this should win this category as it did improve the quality of life for our family, providing a darker room to make settling baby for naps and bedtime easier. I noticed a difference in how she settled, particularly during daytime naps. It is also an attractive looking product and practical. It has a useful purpose that is worth the money, unlike many other 'fad' products out there.
What changes would you make to this product?
Only that the Gro Anywhere Blind comes in one size, which proved difficult as our windows are large so it didn't completely cover them. It still provided significant coverage but I feel providing different sizes may be useful for houses with large windows.

Yes, I would definitely recommend this product to a friend. It blocks out 99% of light from coming into the room. On very hot days we have left the blind down all day as it also helps stop the sun from shining into our baby’s room and heating the room up. The blind is quick to put up and is able to be folded up small for when we take it away with us!
How did this product make your life easier?
We received this product in May, just as the light nights were starting. As we only have thin curtains in my son’s room, the light used to flood through the curtains and wake him up in the early hours of the morning. Since we’ve received this product, we have had no problems with his sleep! We always pack the blind when away on holiday too.
Would you choose this product to win?
I think the product is quite expensive. Considering it is marketed as a ‘go anywhere blind’, it is especially pricey as you can get permanent fixed blinds for less than this. Then again, you can bring this one away with you so I definitely see the appeal as a travel product!
What changes would you make to this product?
When taking the product down, the suction pads leave marks on the window, this is a little irritating. But overall there is nothing wrong with the product, it’s excellent.

The suction cups that secure the blind to the window might eventually lose their suction but if they’re treated with care, the blind will last a long time. It’s an essential travel kit for anyone whose baby needs a routine.

The Gro Company’s Gro Anywhere Blind is a portable blackout sheet that is easy to take on holiday, folding into a neat little bag, and works just as well at home. The blind successfully blocks out the light, which is important for keeping little ones in sync with their daily routine and biorhythmic inclinations, especially in the summer months when it’s light late at night and early in the morning.
The blind attaches to the window with suction cups, which work well but do not stick properly if attached to an open window; this can become problematic on hot days whereby you’ll have to choose between a hot, sleepy child or a cool, awake child – neither option is ideal. An idea would be to make (smaller) cups that will attach to the window frame as well as the glass, which might just solve the ‘open window problem’.
Overall, it’s a clever product that is convenient, compact and a good size for a large window; a ‘must have’ in many homes and a fabulous travel companion!

The Gro Company’s Gro Anywhere Blind can be used on almost any window – even fitting patio doors! The material is thick, with a lovely star and moon print, and does a good job of blacking out light – it’s great for daytime naps, summer nights and holidays too.
It folds up compactly and makes a wonderful travel product. The suction cups are good quality; they are great on glass but don’t stick to window frames, which means that the windows must be closed for the Gro Blind to work – not ideal in hot weather!
Overall, it’s an excellent product – good value for money!
