Fiona reviews the Infant to Toddler Rocker

The Fisher-Price Infant to Toddler Rocker, priced around £55, grows with your baby, providing soothing vibrations when he's younger and then converting into a fun toddler seat as he grows. The detachable toy bar includes three toys to entertain your baby. We asked Fiona Henderson-Ross, 35, from London to test the rocker with her son Callum, six months. This is what she thought:

The infant to toddler rocker chair has been a big hit with Callum. He is quite happy sitting in it with the toys attached and loves trying to swipe them and spin them around. The musical frog on the toy bar always gets a smile when he manages to pull the hoop which activates a tune. I particularly like the idea that it becomes a little chair when they are toddlers and I can see us using this for many months to come.

We have taken the toy bar off a few times and he has been able to sit a bit more upright on his own in it, and while I was initially a little concerned that he might fall forward out of the chair, he was actually very secure with the straps around his waist keeping him in. As with all Fisher Price products it seems very well made and has a fun bright unisex design.

Natasha reviews the Infant to Toddler Rocker

The Fisher-Price Infant to Toddler Rocker, priced around £55, is a comfy rocking seat that will grow with your baby. It has soothing vibrations and a kickstand to convert it into a stationary seat for feeding or sleeping and toy bar with three interactive characters for your baby to play with. We asked Natasha Ward, 20, from Bournemouth to review it with her daughter Grace, four months. Here's what she thought.

'The Infant to Toddler Rocker is absolutely great for our daughter Grace. The bright colours on the chair are vibrant and eye-catching and the rocking motion is brilliant as it settles her straight away. The other bouncers we have had only bounced and we found that never really soothed Grace as much. When the music box is pulled, she loves the tune and it gets her smiling. Grace is going through a grab-everything stage so she'll happily sit in the rocker and pull the music box. The seat is very big, meaning it's great for a fast growing baby and should last us for a while. It is perfect for putting Grace in it while we make her milk or dinner and I like the fact that we know she is safe and entertained.'

Emily reviews the Infant to Toddler Rocker

The Infant to Toddler Rocker, £54.99, grows with baby through the newborn/infant stage as both a rocker and feeding seat. We recruited Emily and her three-month-old triplets Emelia, Felicity & Charlotte, to test it. This is what she thought:

The Infant to Toddler Rocker was a hit with all the girls - babies and toddler! Unlike a lot of rockers, it has a good deep seat which holds a young baby well. I like the way the kick bar reclines the seat for sleeping and also how easily it converts to a toddler rocker

I could do with three of these as I can see lots of arguments in the future over it!

The toy bar is colourful and in a good position. It really attracted the girls' attention- I can see them progressing and beginning to reach towards the toys. The fabric seat is very jolly and it can be wiped which will be useful for the weaning stage.

It comes with clear instructions and took me about 15 minutes to put together requiring only a Philips screwdriver to insert six screws. There is no battery included. The rocker is light weight though still durable but it doesn't fold down to store.

A necessary item for baby but a big plus is the fact it can grow with them to the toddler stage… definitely a ten out of ten from us!
